Introduction / Overview

Avpravah Foundation believes in a holistic approach — a safe woman and a protected child are the cornerstones of a healthy society. We work to prevent violence, raise awareness, and enable economic and educational opportunities for women and children.

1.Objectives

  • Promote safety, legal awareness and emotional wellbeing for women and children.
  • Prevent child abuse, child marriage and trafficking.

  • Awareness on POSH, POCSO, Domestic Violence Act; link victims to legal aid & our women lawyers.
  • Counselling & Child-Friendly Helpline
  • Trauma-informed counselling for survivors (women & children) and a child-friendly reporting mechanism.
  • Education Support & Scholarships for Vulnerable Children
  • Tuition, school supplies, digital literacy classes.
  • Rescue & Rehabilitation (in partnership)
  • Work with police/child welfare committees for rescue, temporary shelter, legal process and rehabilitation.
